Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash

The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated game designer died after his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
